Overview: Colorow has 62 licensed beds and is located in the town of Olathe in western Colorado. We provide skilled nursing and rehabilitation services primarily to the elders in the community. This includes a short–term rehab population as well as longer–term care for those affected with Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, Multiple Sclerosis and other neurological conditions.
Specialized Clinical Services: Inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services; 24-hour skilled nursing services including licensed nursing for post surgery; IV therapy; Wound care; Tube feeding; Restorative therapy
Enhanced Care Services: Family support groups; Transportation; Laundry; Complimentary holiday buffets; Wellness program; Music therapy
Accepted Payor Sources: Medicare, Medicaid, Private Pay, Most private insurances
Innovative Approaches to Care: We specialize in person-centered care! With emphasis on the individual, elders may arise when they choose, bathe when they want, order meals from a broader menu selection, and help themselves to a snack pantry and ice cream freezer 24 hours a day. Through It’s Never 2 Late, elders have access to an adaptive computer with programs including newspapers that read aloud, individual email, puzzles and other cognitively challenging games. Activities are tailored to small groups and personal interests.
